When you choose an Exclusive Use Wedding at Oswald House, the venue becomes your home. We hire the estate exclusively, ensuring you have the privacy and space to welcome your guests as if it were your own house. From getting ready in the Bridal Suite to waking up to discuss the shenanigans from the night before, our goal is for you to leave feeling well-fed, well-watered, and well-danced.
The Complete Package
We take care of the essentials so you can focus on the personal touches. Your exclusive hire fee includes:
- Full Accommodation: Use of all 15 luxury bedrooms, including breakfast the following morning.
- Furniture & Styling: Tables, banquet or Chiavari chairs with covers, sashes, and drapes.
- Dining Essentials: Luxury linen, glassware, and crockery.
- Atmosphere: Open fires (season dependent) and full use of the parkland.
- Support Team: A dedicated wedding planner, plus full set-up, clear-up, and staffing for the day.
Ceremony & Reception Spaces
Whether you are planning a grand banquet or an intimate family dinner, our spaces adapt to your guest list.
- The Ballroom: Features floor-to-ceiling windows, chandeliers, and incredible views. Seats 20 to 100 guests on round or banquet-style tables.
- The Garden Room: Ideal for smaller numbers, seating 10 to 40 guests with views overlooking the park and sea.
- Combined Space: Our bi-folding doors allow us to open both rooms, creating a seamless space for up to 140 guests.

Part of the Oswald experience is keeping your VIPs under one roof. We offer 15 bedrooms comprising 9 king-size rooms, twins, doubles, and a single.
The Bridal Suite
Transformed in 2019, this luxurious suite features incredible light for hair and make-up, a private lounge, and a dining area. Our team will refresh the room during your wedding breakfast to ensure it is perfect for your wedding night.
Guest Payment Service
To help with your budget, we manage guest payments for you. Once you allocate rooms, we contact your guests directly for payment. These funds are then deducted from your exclusive use cost, giving you flexibility on the final price you pay.
- Check-in: 3:00 PM (Early check-in on request).
- Check-out: Relaxed departure at 12:00 PM (Midday).
