Oswald House is an 18th Century Georgian Mansion built in 1793, set in extensive parkland and overlooking the sea. The house retains many of its architectural features, whilst maintaining the charm and character of its era. Although the house commands an imposing country setting, it also sits adjacent to a golf course and is only a short distance from a bustling town with an abundance of additional accommodation for your guests.

We offer exclusive use of Oswald House to include your own private front door entrance, our traditional Reception Room with grand fireplace, Garden Room with views overlooking the park and sea, private bar and our exquisite newly refurbished Ballroom which boasts ceiling to floor windows, chandeliers and incredible views, and 15 ensuite bedrooms.

  • Summer Saturdays 2024 (April – September) – £6,500
  • Off Peak Saturdays 2024 (October – March) – £4,200
  • Mid Week 2024 (Monday – Thursday) – £3,000
  • Late Availability (any day within 6 months) – £POA

 

Dining

Our Ballroom can seat up to 140 guests on round or banquet style tables and you are welcome to decorate the house in whichever way you wish. For smaller numbers, you can use our Dining Room for up to 50 guests or have one large table in the Ballroom.

The rest is entirely up to you. We have our own in house catering team who will work closely with you to ensure that your menu reflects the kind of food you enjoy (menus starting from £48.00). We can also cater for you on the days either side of your wedding…perhaps your guests could enjoy an evening in our pub the night before, or a lazy post wedding Hog Roast, BBQ, or afternoon tea.      

We can arrange cocktails, wine for dinner, post fizz or toasts from our Oswald wine and spirit list with your guests able to enjoy drinks from our paying bar. We can also offer bespoke drinks packages or individual packages to suit your tastes and budget.
